David L. Yas is the Founder and CEO of The Boston Podcast Network. He has been producing podcasts since 2015 and has put his signature on more than 500 episodes as a creative influence, host, editor, and promoter. He is the host of The Boston Podcast, one of the city's few independent daily shows.
David spent many years in the newspaper business. He was the publisher of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, which he guided to an all-time high in paid circulation and profits. A lawyer for more than 20 years, earlier in his career he practiced law with Ruberto, Israel & Weiner. Yas earned a BA in communications from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
David has served as a commentator providing perspective on legal matters for a wide range of media outlets, including CNN, CNBC, NPR Radio and the Boston Globe. Yas was named Best Humor Columnist by the New England Press Association in 2008.
David served as an on-air host for his alma mater B.U. School of Law’s monthly podcast.
He served two terms as the moderator for the town of Sharon, Massachusetts, where he resides with his family and coaches youth sports. He is also the founder of the NE500 Clubs Special Needs and Elder Care Consortium and contributes his time to many special needs organizations.
Chief Operating Officer
Kerri Tabasky is Chief Operating Officer of The Boston Podcast Network and a featured regular on Pod617’s Bitchless Bride – The Podcast. With a passion for entertainment and storytelling, Kerri is also a writer and producer, having co-written and developed the TV dark comedy Mac and Drew, and has other projects currently in the works.
Kerri has had a long career in media sales and marketing, public relations, and production. In addition to managing speaking engagements for George Foreman III, Kerri’s previous employers include CBS Radio and the Grammy Awards. Kerri is an honorary board member for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress and also serves on the board of directors for Concord Youth Theatre. A boxer by hobby and former baker by profession, Kerri is happy to provide baked goods for Pod617 podcasters.
Kerri resides in Sudbury, MA with her husband, three daughters, and their dog.
